PA FOR A FUN-LOVING 7 YEAR OLD AUTISTIC BOY IN CENTRAL HOVE

Our 7 year old ASD Son requires looking after from our home after-school 3 days a week. I work from home most of the time but have my own office in the basement and need someone reliable and ideally with experience who understand the needs of autistic boy to care for him. NO SCHOOL PICK UP NEEDED.

You'll be A fun, easy-going companion to support him with:
Developing his communication
Staying regulated (he is usually calm but can have the occasional meltdown)
Personal care (he is currently being toilet trained)
You'll have;
Experience working with SEND
children
Ability to problem-solve and use
own initiative
Open to learning his AAC system to
support/develop his communication
Full DBS check

Hours needed
🏫 Term Time: After school 3pm–6pm, Wed,
Thursday, Friday – year round
(flexibility available if availability on only
select days)
🌴 School Holidays: Flexible Arrangement
He'll need support accessing the community and activities. (Mileage and expenses re-imbursed)
Desirable: Clean Driving Licence & Car (not essential) to get out and about

PAY RATE
£17 /hr MIN (gross)
Subject to negotiation for experienced candidate
