We are hoping to employ a PA for 12 hours+ a week in Crowborough.

The role is supporting my 21-year old daughter to regain physical strength and her health, and aid her recovery from various health conditions which intensified since January this year. Her conditions include long covid, PoTS, ARFID Eating Disorder, Coeliac disease, electrolyte and phosphate imbalances, which have been resulted in frequent hospital stays this year. She is a lovely bright girl who did amazing at A-levels but has been deteriorating since she had covid in 2021. She is autistic and it would be helpful to have some knowledge and understanding about supporting someone who is autistic and is often quite anxious. 

The role will include:
Food safety and cooking, gluten-free meals and snacks
Calorie-dense menu planning
Medication prompts and administration when needed
Gentle encouragement for physio and exercising
Household tasks like cleaning, laundry, and organisation
Pet care for a small dog and cat when required
Personal care, including assistance with hair, nails, and general wellbeing
Administrative tasks to help with daily organisation
Logging meals, fluid intake and calories, managing food ordering
Providing calm, reassuring emotional support in day-to-day life and during challenging situations
Occasional night cover and care support if she has to go to hospital, as agreed in advance.

We are hoping to find someone who has some basic nursing experience or some experience as an HCA, and who is generally fit and well and has no issues with steps as there are quite a lot of steps up to the bungalow and the role requires a fair amount of walking each day.
I am currently her full-time carer and will also continue to provide care. I aim to provide full support for several weeks whilst the PA gets going in the role.
